About Cork

Industrial Experience Built Since 1973

From equipment sales to complete turnkey systems, Cork Equipment & Construction has grown by responding to the real operational needs of its customers.

From Equipment Sales to Full-Service Project Delivery

Cork Equipment & Construction Company originated in 1973 as an equipment sales organization founded by Eugene Corcoran. His knowledge of the bulk material-handling industry allowed Cork to make informed equipment selections that helped improve customer operations.

Customer feedback encouraged the company to expand into other areas of the industry. Cork added knowledgeable professionals with experience in welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and millwright work, creating a broader range of field capabilities.

As customer projects became more complex, engineering design and system layout became an important part of Cork's offering. These capabilities allowed the company to plan efficient systems and provide customers with practical, high-quality solutions.

In 2003, long-time employee Mike Countryman became President. His field knowledge led Cork to pursue more labor-intensive and challenging opportunities, further expanding the company's hands-on experience and project diversity.

Today, Cork combines equipment knowledge, engineering, fabrication, installation, project management, maintenance, subcontracting, and consulting to support projects from initial planning through completion.
